Paulette and Hunter met online in the summer of 2020. Their first date was at K-Town Korean BBQ in Hazel Del. Paulette had just finished her Bachelor's from UC Riverside when she moved with her family to Vancouver Washington. Hunter had been home for almost a year after being stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington for the Army. 
Hunter proposed to Paulette on 10/13/2023 on the Couples 3rd year anniversary at Fort Vancouver Park while having a picnic.
